BareFootGeno grew up on the stage. At age 3 he began performing with his family (Dad, Mom, 4 brothers, 1 sister and sometimes our dog Red). As a child he had the chance to rub elbows with stars such as Jackie Gleason, Buddy Hackett, Sammy Davis jr.
In his early teens he performed off Broadway until he decided to move to Florida. There he began to refine his act. Already playing guitar BFG began to play all his bass lines with his feet, using big pedals made for an organ (he cant play the pedals wearing shoes - get it ?). After a couple of years he joined the indie /college band "Naildrivers".
Being a member of the Naildrivers enabled him to tour the country and open for DMB, Cracker, Freddy Jones Band, and the Black Crows to name a few.
BFG is getting ready to release a full length CD featuring Oteil Burbrige (bass for Allmon Bros.) and Jimmy Herring (guitar for Phill and Friends).
